Unlocking the Power of LinkedIn: My Journey to $100k+ Quarters

Five and a half years ago, I started with no followers and no strategy. Fast forward to today, and LinkedIn has become one of the most important revenue drivers in my business—powering multiple $100k+ quarters. It wasn’t about going viral. It was about building trust, creating consistency, and focusing on a handful of simple strategies that anyone can learn.

Here’s exactly how I did it.

1. Define Your Hyperniche and Own It

One of the earliest turning points in my LinkedIn journey came when I went all in on a single, clear hyperniche: conversion. Rather than trying to appeal to everyone, I made my expertise front and center.

Why Hyperniche Matters

LinkedIn is not the place to be vague or scattershot. If your audience doesn’t immediately understand what you solve and for whom, they’ll scroll past. Having a well-defined hyperniche means your content becomes a magnet for the right people—those actively looking for someone with your expertise.

For me, that meant putting “conversion” in my headline, talking about it in my posts, and weaving it into my comments and DMs. The repetition wasn’t just for branding—it was strategic trust-building.

Tip: Consistency Over Creativity

It's tempting to veer into storytelling or trending topics just to get reach. And while personal stories have their place, don’t let them distract from your core offer. Every post should reinforce who you are and how you help.

2. Build a Renewable Offering That Starts Your Month Ahead

The next breakthrough came when I created a renewable offering: something that generates monthly recurring revenue (MRR) so that I never start the month at zero.

The Magic of MRR

Instead of chasing one-off projects, I launched a service that clients pay for on an ongoing basis. This gives me financial stability and allows me to focus more on delivery and less on constant lead-gen panic.

For example, this might be:

  • A monthly consulting retainer
  • A subscription membership or accountability group
  • A done-with-you service that renews every 30 days

Not only does this create predictability, but it also deepens relationships and helps clients get better results over time.

Bonus: It Frees Up Your Brain

When you know the first $5k–$20k of your month is already secured, you operate with more confidence and make better decisions. You're not selling from desperation—you’re leading with value.

3. Launch a “Low/Mid” Flagship Offer to Serve More People

My third step was launching my Accelerator Programme back in 2020. It was priced accessibly, intentionally designed to fill a gap in my sales ladder, and it quickly became one of my top-performing offers.

What Is a Flagship “Low/Mid” Offer?

Think of this as your intro product—something your audience can join without needing to spend thousands. It allows people to say “yes” to working with you faster and gives them a tangible experience of your value.

Most importantly, it does three things:

  • It builds trust and credibility
  • It increases conversions from cold to warm leads
  • It gives you a scalable offer to promote frequently

Pro Tip: Don’t Wait to Launch

Even if you don’t feel ready, you likely already have the assets to create a low/mid ticket offer:

  • A few trainings you’ve delivered
  • A proven client process
  • A set of templates or checklists

Package it, price it fairly, and launch it. Then refine it as you go.

4. Be Active in the DMs: The Real Engine of LinkedIn Sales

This might be the most underrated yet powerful tactic of them all: DMs.

Conversations > Impressions

While most people chase content metrics like views and likes, I’ve always cared more about conversations. DMs are where those conversations begin. That’s where the real business happens.

Every post I publish is designed to be a conversation starter. I actively scan comments, follow up with likes and thoughtful replies, and often move those interactions into DMs where we can talk more personally about challenges, goals, and solutions.

DMs are where leads become clients.

How to Use DMs Without Being Salesy

You don’t need a script. You just need to care. Here’s how I approach it:

  • Thank people for engaging
  • Ask how their week is going
  • Follow up on something they shared publicly
  • Offer help without expectation

When it’s time to transition to sales, don’t shy away. If you believe in your offer and you’ve built rapport, you’re doing them a favor by making it easy to say yes.

Final Thoughts: It’s About Consistency, Not Complexity

I’ve never gone viral. I’ve never run ads. I’ve never had a huge team. But I have shown up consistently, provided value, and built a process that works.
