Five years ago, I left a networking event feeling uninspired. The theme was vague, the speakers forgettable, and the energy flat. It felt like an opportunity wasted — and I couldn’t stop thinking about it. But rather than complain, I decided to build something better.
Entrepreneur Business Live was born out of a desire to do things differently. To create an event that brought clarity, energy, and most importantly — impact.
From the start, I wanted EBL to be more than another business mixer. Each event would revolve around a focused topic. We’d bring in speakers with real, demonstrable success. We’d make the energy feel more like old friends reconnecting than strangers exchanging business cards.
No fluff. Just value, authenticity, and buzz.
But it wasn’t just about business. I knew it had to stand for something greater. That’s why from day one, 100% of ticket money has gone to local charities. Every handshake, every idea shared — it all supported something bigger.
Five years later, that core value remains unchanged. EBL is still committed to using business as a force for good.
EBL has never been a one-man show. The secret to its success is the community behind it. Our attendees don’t just show up — they engage, support, and bring the energy.
Last night’s 33rd event was a beautiful reminder of that. The room was buzzing. There were hugs, wide-eyed introductions, and countless, “Wow — great to meet you in real life!” moments. The power of connecting online and then stepping into the same room? Unmatched.
At every event, we host a panel discussion featuring global names from LinkedIn and beyond. These aren’t just talking heads — they’re seasoned professionals with lived experience and practical advice.
Our latest topic, “Branding for Business,” tackled one of the most misunderstood areas in entrepreneurship. The panel delivered, and the audience — including our online LinkedIn viewers — asked powerful, relevant questions. Even better? Every single question asked added more money to our charity donation total.
That charity piece isn’t just lip service. Last night, we were able to donate £800 (approximately $1,000) to two incredible causes: Drive Forward Foundation and Jai Dog Rescue.
That’s the result of shared intention. Everyone who bought a ticket, asked a question, or shared the event contributed. And that’s the kind of ripple effect I always dreamed of when starting EBL.
The impact doesn’t stop when the lights go down. The positivity created in that room spreads — through posts, conversations, and future collaborations. That’s the legacy we’re building. One event at a time.
So thank you — every one of you who’s attended, donated, or even just shared a post. You’re part of this story.
We’re not done. In fact, we’re just getting started. Our next event lands on 20th September in Amsterdam. If you’ve never been to an EBL event, this is your sign.
Come to learn. Come to connect. Come to give back.
