Have you ever had the pleasure of meeting a long-time online connection in person? If you have, you’ll understand why “It’s so good to meet you in real life” was the most used phrase at the recent Entrepreneur Business Live event in London. For many of the 80 attendees, it was the first time meeting established LinkedIn connections face-to-face. While we’re all about building relationships online, there’s something incredibly powerful about practicing human interaction in person. It’s a different kind of connection—a togetherness you can actually feel in the room. And that’s exactly what we experienced.
There’s something magical about offline connection. It allows you to move beyond profile pictures and polished posts. You see the tone, the energy, the subtle cues that don’t translate through a screen. That depth changes everything.
The energy was palpable from the start. Our panelists shared bold insights and practical advice, and the audience leaned in, fully present. But the magic didn’t stop with the talks. During the networking session afterwards, the room was buzzing with hugs, smiles, and laughter. Conversations flowed naturally. People who had supported each other’s posts for years were now shaking hands, sharing stories, and strengthening bonds. It was a reminder that community becomes far more powerful when it’s embodied.
Beyond learning and networking, we also raised £800 for Jai Dog Rescue and Drive Forward Foundation. Sharing where that money would go created a moment of collective pride. It wasn’t just an event; it was impact. When you combine connection with contribution, something bigger happens. You don’t just leave with business cards. You leave with meaning.
What stood out most wasn’t just the turnout or the speakers. It was the community spirit. Everyone contributed to making the event what it was.
Two panelists dropped out at the last minute. Instead of panic, the community stepped up. Another speaker adjusted and filled the gap. The audience remained supportive. That resilience is what real networks are built on. Not perfection—but shared momentum.
As we prepare for Barcelona, there’s deep gratitude for everyone who showed up and made this the perfect 30th edition. When you combine learning, philanthropy, and fun, you create something rare. That combination is why these events continue to grow.
If you’ve only ever networked behind a screen, consider this your invitation to try something different. In-person networking accelerates trust, deepens relationships, and strengthens your ecosystem in ways digital interactions simply can’t replicate.

In-person interaction reminds us that business is still human. It’s about energy, shared laughter, real dialogue, and collective progress. That’s the true power of networking done right.
Thank you for being part of this growing movement. Keep learning, keep showing up, and keep investing in real connection. See you at the next event.
